ABOUT THE GGCAGThe Grand Gorge Community Action Group, or GGCAG was formed by Grand Gorge residents and has been responsible for initiating numerous projects that have greatly enhanced the Hamlet in both appearance and quality of life. Some of these projects include the placement of flower boxes along Main Street, and lighted Christmas wreaths for the holiday season. New "Welcome" signs, that can been seen as you enter Grand Gorge, were also acquired.
The GGCAG has also initiated other projects such as the Playground Project at the Civic Center, a Halloween Party and a Christmas Party. The GGCAG also received a grant for the performance by the Bowery Boys at the annual Community Day. The GGCAG and the Town of Roxbury are currently working with a consultant on a marketing positioning strategy. |
